Able Closures, LLC, servicing San Diego, CA, was founded on a need. A successful businessman had a leather attaché briefcase handed down to him from his father, as well as another one his parents gave him when he began his career over 30 years ago. When both leather briefcases wore out, he tried to find another one to replace it, but could not find one comparable in quality or durability. He teamed up with a friend, a very successful executive with a Global 500 consumer products company, to create leather briefcases and other leather goods to meet the standards of his original "executive closure." Able Closures was born.

Able Closures produces leather goods that are hand-made in America with strong nylon stitching and brass snaps. We use only select saddle-grade bridle leather to make our durable and functional cases.

The thickness and texture of the leather gives it a look and feel of timeless elegance. Each case has natural markings and textures that are exclusive to the leather hide it was made from. Daily use, added with the absorption of skin oils on the leather product makes your leather briefcase or closure distinctly yours.
